Sunrisers Hyderabad will face off against Punjab Kings in the 37th match of the Indian Premier League. The two sides will be keen to climb up the table to keep their hopes of a top-four finish alive. Though it is nearly impossible for that to happen, the team that loses will be more or less done for the season. It will be a battle between two sides at the bottom of the IPL points table. Betting in India will be in full flow for this one.
Sunrisers Hyderabad are deep trouble. They’ve managed to win only two out of eight games and are currently placed at the bottom of the points table. With no Jonny Bairstow missing, the team opened with Wriddhiman Saha and David Warner. None of their batsmen except Abdul Samad and Rashid Khan could cross the 20 run mark. Their batting crumbled against Anrich Nortje and Kagiso Rabada’s raw pace. Otherwise, it could have been a close cricket match.
Bowling-wise the team could dismiss only two Delhi batsmen as the Rishabh Pant and company chased their target in 17.5 overs.
Hyderabad’s form is poor and with one more loss, they might as well pack their bags and prepare to face the music after a disappointing IPL season.

KL Rahul has a star-studded lineup supporting him this IPL. Starting with their captain’s class and Mayank Agarwal’s strokeplay, the Punjab Kings have Mohammed Shami to work magic for them. However, all the magic failed when a 20-year-old Kartik Tyagi delivered a stunning last over and the Kings recorded one of the worst chokes in the history of IPL.
The team did play the likes of Shahrukh Khan, Ravi Bishnoi and Chris Gayle. Coach Anil Kumble and skipper KL Rahul faced backlash for it.
While many talked about Rajasthan’s incredible death bowling in the last game, it is important to note that Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Shami gave no more than 24 runs in the last four overs, taking six wickets.
Their middle-order is made of Nicholas Pooran and Shahrukh Khan. Arshdeep Singh, Ravi Bishnoi and Murugan Ashwin make a decent Indian bowling attack.
PBKS squad: KL Rahul (c), Mayank Agarwal, Chris Gayle, Mandeep Singh, Prabhsimran Singh, Nicholas Pooran, Sarfaraz Khan, Dawid Malan, Shahrukh Khan, Deepak Hooda, Moises Henriques, Jalaj Saxena, Saurabh Kumar, Fabian Allen, Murugan Ashwin, Ravi Bishnoi, Harpreet Brar, Utkarsh Singh, Mohammed Shami, Arshdeep Singh, Ishan Porel, Darshan Nalkande, Chris Jordan, Riley Meredith, Jhye Richardson
Punjab Kings and Sunrisers Hyderabad have faced each other 17 times in the IPL. Punjab have won 5 matches while Hyderabad have won on 12 occasions.
KL Rahul’s Punjab Kings should get back to winning ways against a weary Sunrisers Hyderabad side. The favourites are pretty much clear.
