Antonio Conte’s Chelsea proved supremacy in the Premier League this season as the club set the bar higher after a convincing win over Southampton at Stamford Bridge.
The win has put pressure on the Blues’ rival Tottenham as the former increased goal gaps to seven points—thanks to Diego Costa’s double and goals from Eden Hazard along with Gary Cahill who have secured the win extended the club’s run on victory.
Chelsea manager has used his two most dangerous attackers, Hazard and Costa as the game changers after putting them out of the starting line up at Wembley. Fortunately, it was an excellent decision to make as the duo returned to stir powerful contributions in the match.
While defender Cahill headed the title-pace setters back in in front right on half time following Oriol Romeu’s equalizer for the Saints.
Next thing for the Blues is to travel to Everton’s home ground for another important battle in the Premier League.
