England – Preview
Going into the T20 match, England arguably have the weaker batting lineup of the two. Apart from Alex Hales who has been in brilliant form domestically, and Joe Root, who had an outstanding Test series, question marks remain over the rest of the lineup. Any one of them can very well take the game away from the opposition single handedly, on their day, and they need at least one of them to do just that. England need their batsmen to bring out their real potential.
In the bowling department, Jake Ball and David Willey are exciting talents who can wreck the opposition. Their bowling is the stronger of the two departments, and Morgan must look forward to his bowlers to restrict Indies to an achievable total.
West Indies – Preview
West Indies is a team which have one of the most fearsome batting lineups in T20 cricket, boasting names such as Gayle, Samuels, Lewis, Pollard, and Brathwaite. If some, not all of them unleash themselves with the bat, England will have a tough task in taming them. Also, the team should possibly use Sunil Naraine well in the bowling department as he has been able to take wickets consistently, and for a cheap rate which averages approximately 6 an over. Meanwhile, Kesrick has a good record in T20s. He has taken 16 wickets in 9 matches. Taylor will be another crucial component of the bowling lineup.
West Indies have the better side of the two, but will have to prove their mettle on the pitch come Saturday.
