ICC Champions Trophy Day 3 Cricket Betting Preview

Hot favorites South Africa face rank outsiders Sri Lanka on the third day of the ICC Champions Trophy 2017. It will be a huge surprise if Sri Lanka pull off a win tomorrow. Not only the South African teams traditionally do well in the international tournaments, this Sri Lankan team is virtually a leaderless unit. India and Pakistan are the other teams in this group. Sri Lanka’s chances of winning a match – let alone qualifying – appear slim. For cricket betting, this is really an easy picking. South Africans are too strong for this bunch of Sri Lankans.

Preview – South Africa

They are one of the most balanced sides in the tournament. AB de Villiers, Hashim Amla, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Faf du Plessis and David Miller form the core of an extremely strong and destructive batting line-up. Kagiso Rabada and Morne Morkel can be quite handful in the English conditions. Imran Tahir should be the best leg spinner in the limited overs format right now. The support cast comprises some handy all-rounders: Chris Morris, Wayne Parnell, Keshav Maharaj and Andile Phehlukwayo. Just have a solid look at the team sheet. You will not have much doubt of where to place your money in cricket betting.

Preview –Sri Lanka

Sri Lankan cricket’s giants have all retired. They seem to be on a perpetual re-building stage. Skipper Angelo Mathews is a doubtful starter. Lasith Malinga is the most experienced player. But he is a shadow of his old self. The batting is inexperienced, especially in the English conditions. This is a good opportunity for the likes of Dinesh Chandimal, Kusal Perera and Asela Gunaratne to prove that they belong to the top league.

Prediction for cricket betting: It is going to be a cakewalk for South Africa.
