In the 31st match of the Indian Premier League, two must-win teams in action tomorrow at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru: Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. Both the teams are at the bottom of the table, having scored just four points from seven outings.
RCB will have the advantage of playing at home. However, their bowling attack the weakest in the fray that their batsmen need to click collectively if they need to win a match. The odds are great. Check it out here. If you are new to betting, first register yourself with 12BET.com here.
Royal Challengers Bangalore – Preview
RCB’s case is a bit curious. Their star players are faring well. AB de Villiers is hitting all those outrageous sixes; Virat Kohli is increasingly proving hard dismiss. Quinton de Kock is getting better and better. However, the team is losing and losing. The batting is okay – only Kohli needs to be a bit more explosive.
The bowling, however, requires a thorough re-building. Tim Southee appears a good addition. They should consider playing both Tim Southee and Chris Woakes together, along with Umesh Yadav, Washington Sundar and Yuzvendra Chahal. That will make their bowling of international standard.
The trouble with this line-up is that their top order must fire on all occasions. It is clear whether de Villiers will start. He is nursing an injury. Kohli has a real headache in team selection. And backing them for cricket betting could lead to further headaches too.
Mumbai Indians – Preview
Rohit Sharma too will have a selection dilemma. Keiron Pollard has an excellent record at Chinnaswamy Stadium. But he was rested in the Saturday’s win against Chennai Super Kings. Sharma will be confused about whether to play Pollard or not to tinker with the winning competition.
Mumbai Indians won their home match against RCB. They will be looking for an encore. Krunal Pandya has an excellent record against de Viliers. If they can keep Kohli reasonably quite, they will feel they can win the match.
Prediction for cricket betting: The team that bats second has the best chance of winning. If a team must be picked based on sound analysis, it has to be Mumbai Indians.
