It cannot happen now. It is going to be an England win or a draw. Check out the online betting odds at 12bet and take your pick.

Pakistan had the upper hand and the first innings lead in the third test at Edgbaston. But they have to pay the price for the lackluster outing in the final two days. With some more application and hard work, they could have salvaged a draw in the third test.

Preview – England

England will now believe that they can win the series. They have shown more self belief and the better ability to fight. They have dug themselves out from difficult situations, especially with the help of some disciplined bowling and gutsy lower-order batting. Almost all the England bowlers chipped in with wickets. But Chris Woakes has been the stand-out performer. He has claimed 23 wickets from three tests.

On the batting front, Joe Root and Alastair Cook have led the way. England look a better all-round unit. They may consider the option of including leg spinner Adil Rashid. If that happens, the off-colour speedster Steven Finn will have to make the way.

Preview – Pakistan

This is the kind of do-or-die situation in which Pakistan either do – or die. They do not play for the draw. Expect the match to be over by three or four days. Pakistan have two positives going into this match, as far as cricket betting analysis is concerned. First is the form of their young batsmen. Azhar Ali and Sami Aslam batted brilliantly in the third test. If Misbah-ul-Haq and Asad Shafiq can rediscover their touch, Pakistan can post a decent total. The second factor is the Oval pitch. It is the most spin-friendly pitch in England. Yasir Shah must be eager to start bowling on the pitch. Pakistan may draft in left-arm spinner Zulfiqar Babar into the eleven.

All the indicators point to an England win. But if there is a pitch in England where Pakistan can stage a comeback, it is going to be Oval. As for cricket betting, a bet on a series draw may not be too bad an idea. Check out the odds @ and enjoy a thrilling game.
