EPL Match Week 36: Online Betting preview

Just four more rounds remain after this in the English Premier League. Chelsea still have a four-point lead in the points table. Unless they lose two of  their remaining games, they title is theirs. Tottenham too have confirmed their second position. They still have chance to win the title if Chelsea slip up. However, a tough three-way battle is going on for the third place. Liverpool are the front runners, but the Manchester clubs too have realistic chance of catching up with Liverpool. As for online betting, there are some exciting games this weekend too. Here are our picks.

May 6

Manchester City vs Crystal Palace
Bournemouth vs Stoke
Burnley vs West Brom
Hull vs Sunderland
Leicester vs Watford
Swansea vs Everton

May 7

Liverpool vs Southampton
Arsenal vs Manchester United

May 9

Chelsea vs Middlesbrough

Marquee Match of the Week

Arsenal vs Manchester United will be the top fixture of the weekend. Arsenal are bookmakers’ favourite. It is not  because Arsene Wenger has found any secret formula for reversal of Arsenal’s fortunes. But United will be resting their key players ahead of the Europa Leage semi final second league in the mid-week. Arsenal lost against Tottenham, which means they will be finishing behind their North London derby rivals for the first time in recent memory. The loss has also made things difficult  for the Gunners in their pursuit of the customary fourth place. They need to win this match to keep the hopes alive.

Prediction for online betting: A draw, perhaps a 1-1 draw (Check match odds).

Other Interesting Matches

Liverpool host Southampton on Sunday. This is  a must win match for the Merseysiders if they want to finish in the third place and secure the Champions League berth. They are in good form; Philippe Coutinho’s injury suffered in the last match against Watford does not seem to be serious; and they seemed destined to finish in the top three. Southampton, on the other hand, are struggling big time.

Prediction for online betting: A comfortable win for Liverpool (Check match odds)
