Antonio Conte is furious as the Premier League champions go through the mill of the summer transfer failings.
Following the exit of key figure Diego Costa, Chelsea manager has been eyeing for the perfect fit to replace the former striker after revealing that he no longer has plans for the player in the next season.
With this, the Blues have turned their attention to Swansea striker Fernando Llorente after failing to persuade the Swans to let him join on loan back in January.
However, the Swans are still keen to keep the 32-year-old Spanish who is currently in the final year of his contract primarily because his 15 goals have helped the team avoid the relegation.
Moreover, Conte is said to be desperate in signing Everton’s Romelu Lukaku despite Manchester United agreeing to a £75m worth deal for the 24-year-old striker.
This even more tested the Italian chief’s patience who is already at odds with Chelsea’s board given the fact that a new contract for Conte at Stamford Bridge remains unsigned.
Apparently, similar circumstances have led the 47-year-old to leave his former coaching club Juventus shortly after failed transfer dealings.
As of press time, only goal keeper Willy Caballero of Manchester City has agreed to move at Stamford on a free transfer.
