Manchester City Sergio Aguero is more likely to miss six weeks of action based on the claims of Argentina’s national team doctor Donato Villani.
According to Villani, Aguero will be out for a minimum of month and a half.
“He is feeling very bad emotionally because he really wanted to come and play [for the national side], but this incident has ruled him out of both games. He is going to be out for a month-and-a-half – minimum. He is unable to leave his house, or get in or out of the car. He was feeling very bad because he wanted to be here.” Villani said to TyC Sports
Going back, the 29-year-old striker suffered a broken rib in a car accident last week in his rest day in Amsterdam after the taxi hit the post.
Man City has said earlier that the injury of Aguero will be between two and four weeks. However, Villani thinks that it’s not going to happen and it might take much longer.
As of now, the Sky Blues have no comment to the assessment of the Argentina team doctor.
Moving forward, the Argentine forward has scored seven goals already in his eight appearances with the club this season and he is just one goal away from tying Eric Brook’s goal-scoring record of 177 in 1939.
