Barcelona stars Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi managed to seal the game victoriously against Alaves in the late minutes of the rally that saw the club maintain their 11-point lead at the top of Spanish La Liga.

Alaves, despite losing, have also stunned the Camp Nou by putting up a good defending; while the club’s formation has proved to be a real obstacle for manager Ernesto Valverde’s men.

John Guidetti fired home an opener as he lashed the ball inside the home team’s goal keeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen’s near post. It was almost 2-0 for Alaves, but Ter Stegen tipped his effort over the bar (make sure to get the best betting odds).

Messi could have leveled score through a free-kick but his shot was brilliantly turned against the post by keeper Fernando Pacheco Flores in the Alaves goal.

Couple of minutes passed and fortunately, Barca, through Luis Suarez successfully leveled score in the second half of the campaign.

Nearly 10 minutes after Suarez’s goal, Messi had the opportunity to secure another point for his side with a sublime free-kick which lifted Barca to a victory.

The win means manager Ernesto Valverde’s squad is still unbeaten in the domestic league.
