Two goals from Tottenham star player Harry Kane and another from Heung-Min Son marked the club’s victory over Bundesliga Borussia Dortmund at Wembley.
Son has put Dortmund under pressure when he got the chance to open score as early as four minutes. The Black and Yellows chased points and it appeared effective as Andriy Yarmolenko equalized with a fine delivery five minutes after Hotspurs took the lead.
Although the hosts barely showed fear, Mauricio Pochettino’s men made sure to put the club in front. Harry Kane slotted home with his left foot as the ball flew straight and high into the net.
The exchange of fast-paced and intense rally made the crowd grew louder as fans cheer for their respective team.
It took a little while before any of the teams were able to shoot again.
Dortmund have relatively most of the possession and Hotspurs were under threats considering that it was only a matter of time before the visitors create goal scoring opportunity.
But the home team found a chance to tuck home when Peter Bosz’s men suddenly became open. Eriksen calmly passes ball to Kane on the left. And in an instant, Kane let out a forceful left foot strike to claim victory.
Tottenham will return to play in the domestic league and are expected to host Swansea on weekend (check out the best betting odds).
