Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho expressed his intention to sign Gareth Bale if Real Madrid no longer wants him in the team.
Mourinho said that Bale’s potential inclusion in La Real on Tuesday Super (check the best betting odds on 12BET) Cup will dictate whether or not the forward player is still in the plans of Zinedine Zidane.
When asked about pursuing the Welsh footballer, United boss said that he will not buy Bale if he plays in the match because that would mean that he is still in the coach’s plans.
“If he is not in the club’s plans, that with the arrival of another player would mean he was on his way out, I will try to be waiting for him on the other side and fight with other coaches that would want him. But if he plays tomorrow, that is the best confirmation he is wanted by the team.”
Prior this controversy, the 28-year-old has earlier committed to Real in October with a contract that sets him to stay until 2020 in the club.
Bale, who came from Premier League Tottenham had joined the Spanish side back in 2013 for a world record fee of £85m. He was also able to help La Real to win domestic league title last season.
