FC Barcelona opened their Champions League group stage campaign with a convincing 3-0 victory over Juventus F.C. at the Camp Nou.

Argentine superstar Lionel Messi led the team with two goals to help Barcelona’s 3-0 win against last season’s Champions League finalist Juventus.

Messi scored in both halves to grab his 95th and 96th goals in the Champions League. The first goal came in the 45th minute of the match to take the lead right before halftime.

In addition, Ivan Rakitic stretched the lead in the 56th minute of the second half before Argentine star netted his second goal of the game to wrap up the victory with a stunning left-footed goal from 20 yards to avenge their semifinal exit at the hands of the Serie A side last season.

Meanwhile, Ousmane Dembele, the most expensive signing in the history of Barcelona, made his first start for the Catalan club. (Check 12BET for more exciting Soccer Betting Tips)

It doesn’t matter if he’s on the wing or in the middle. He’s always connected to the play.” Barca boss Valverde said
