Paris Saint-Germain F.C. had a comfortable and convincing 6-2 victory over Toulouse FC to go on top of Ligue 1.
The Brazilian superstar Neymar was outstanding in his first home debut appearance at the Parc des Princes where he scored twice for the team’s four of their six goals.
Toulouse opened the scoring board with Max Gradel’s 18th minute goal. However, the €222million world record signing Neymar equalized the game in the 31st minute before Adrien Rabiot netted another goal to ensure their lead at halftime.
In the second half, Edinson Cavani doubled the lead with his penalty shot but Christopher Jullien’s header made the scoring to 3-2.
Meanwhile, stunning goals from Javier Pastore, Layvin Kurzawa and Neymar sealed the victory to complete PSG’s came from behind win.
“I feel very happy and relaxed, I feel at home. I am adapting as quickly as possible. I am getting better physically and I can still improve yet,” Neymar said after the game.
Right now, PSG currently have nine points in Ligue 1 standing table together with reigning champions AS Monaco and AS Saint-Etienne.
The 25-year-old forward has made three goals in his two appearances for Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona.
