Paris Saint-Germain coach Unai Emery has already resolved the penalty issues between Neymar and Edinson Cavani ahead of their Championship League Group B meeting against Bayern Munich tomorrow.
According to Emery, from now on penalties will be shared by world-record signing Neymar and star forward Cavani. (Check 12BET for more Soccer Betting Tips)
“Many of our players are capable [of taking penalties]. Many of them also want to. Edinson and Neymar are ready. There will be plenty of penalties and both will benefit from that. I have spoken with both of them. I have told them how things will work from here.” Emery said
Going back, the two attacking forward argued over a penalty duties after the 30-year-old Uruguayan refused to give up his responsibility during their 2-0 win over Olympique Lyonnais in Ligue 1 last September 18, which resulted into a major controversy.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian superstar Neymar is set to be back in line from toe injury to lead PSG together with Cavani and Kylian Mbappe after missing last weekend’s 0-0 draw against host Montpellier HSC at La Mosson.
In addition, Angel Di Maria is also expected to feature for the first time with the squad since he got injured during the last international break.
“There will be 20 players training later and if everything goes well, there will still be 20 tomorrow. Neymar and Angel will be there. Javier [Pastore] is continuing his recovery. He is getting better. We hope that he will be ready to play as soon as possible.” PSG coach added
