Everton striker Romelu Lukaku snubbed Manchester United in favor of signing a contract with the Premier League champions, Chelsea worth £80million.
The Belgian footballer who has been relatively long linked with move away from Everton expressed that he intends to remain only in the EPL.
Lukaku, very much determined to move back to Stamford Bridge has also disclosed while on international duty with Belgium, that a decision on his future has already been made.
“My agent knows what’s going to happen and I know as well,” Lukaku stated and added, “I’m staying calm and we have an agreement with the club as well. We stay calm and at least we have a direction where we want to go.”
When further asked about his long term plan, Everton striker said, “The most important thing is I want to win trophies. We are now talking to the club. As for the rest, I am looking ahead. What I would like most to play in the Champions League and try to win the Premier League once. Or better, a few times. That would be the most beautiful thing.”
