Striker Marko Arnautovic has submitted a transfer request shortly after Stoke City rejected West Ham United’s £15million bid in an attempt to move him to London Stadium.
West Ham co-chairman David Gold has publicly announced that the Hammers are prospecting a center-forward and a forward who is highly capable of playing wide. Arnautovic seems to be the perfect fit to take part in the reshaping of club’s front line.
The Potters are not determined to sell Arnautovic whose contract is supposedly up until 2020. However, there could be a potential change if West Ham improve their offer to around £20million.
Stoke chairman said, “We will only sell Marko if the terms are right but he’s not a player we want to lose.”
In the recent weeks, the key figure of the Potters has already been linked with a move to AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain apart from West Ham.
Also, it is believed that the Austria international’s heart is no longer at Bet365 for having grown frustration on what he sees as lack of ambition in the club.
The 28-year-old who joined Stoke City from Werder Bremen has scored 26 goals in 145 appearances for the Potters.
