The India-New Zealand series is heading to an exciting finish. After four ODI matches, the score is tied at 2-2. Whoever win the fifth and final ODI at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam will take the series. All the cricket betting odds were stacked in favour of India. New Zealand can take pride in the fact that they have stretched the series thus far. Having reached there, they would not want to return home empty handed. A keen contest is on cards. It is great for cricket. It is great for cricket betting too.
Preview – India
India are likely to bring back Jasprit Bumrah in the place of Dhawal Kulkarni. Kulkarni did well with the bat in the rear guard action that took India somewhat close to the target in the fourth ODI. But he was expensive with the ball. Bumrah knows the knack of bowling at the death. The rest of the eleven are likely to remain the same.
A big score is due from the Indian top order batsmen other than Virat Kohli. The team has become a bit more dependent on the Kohli these days. If the past record is anything to go by, Kohli is likely to produce another batting gem here. He has scored two centuries and a score of 99 on this pitch in the three matches he played here. MS Dhoni too has a century at his credit on this pitch. The team batting second has won in four of the five matches played here.
Preview – New Zealand
If India depend on individual performances, New Zealand win by collective effort. Each of the players contributes towards the win. They have shown tremendous fighting spirit throughout the series, except perhaps for the third test. Kane Williamson has led them well too. He has gone against the grain of batting second against India. He won the toss in the last ODI, decided to bat first and won the match. The pitch at Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium is a bowl-first pitch. It would be interesting to see what Williamson will do if he wins the test.
This is a big match for cricket betting. India will be the favourites on paper. Kohli and Dhoni will certainly raise their game, as this is crunch match. But the match will decided by the performance of the India’s other top order batsmen. If they fire, India are likely to emerge victorious.
