India, West Indies set for battle in cricket’s new land – USA : Betting Preview


West Indies and India have flown to Florida in the USA to play two T-20 international matches at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill. The first of the series begins tomorrow. It will be fascinating contest for entertainment purposes as well as for cricket betting activity: the World T-20 champions facing the IPL powerhouse.
India will be itching to seek vengeance for the home defeat at the hands of West Indies in the last T-20 World Cup quarter finals, while West Indies will be relieved that the test series is over and the T-20 tour has started. Just have a glance at these names; you will understand how formidable the West Indies team is in the T-20 format. There are brutal power hitters, classy batsmen, crafty bowlers and awesome fielders in their ranks. And they know how to win T-20 matches. Indians should be afraid, really afraid.
The odds of cricket betting in favour of West Indies are attractive. But they are an unpredictable side. Proceed with caution when you wager money on them.

MS Dhoni has rejoined the team to captain them for the T-20 series. The team will be vary of the batting firepower that West Indies possess. The ground in Florida is small. Even Chris Gayle’s forward defensive shot can go for a six. The smallness of the ground could be a headache for the Indian skipper when he tries to use the spinners.
There will be considerable ground support for the Indians from the Indian diaspora in the USA. One cannot fault the Windies players if they feel like playing in India. India’s chances of scoring high depend on the pyrotechnics of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, which will be crucial because a score of over 200 is on the cards.
This is anybody’s game, as the TV commentators would say. For cricket betting, India appears a more dependable side. It is better to wait and watch. The team that bats second is likely to emerge victorious.
