IPL Match Day 22: Cricket Betting Preview

Rising Pune Supergiant, of late, are doing justice to their name. They are indeed rising. They won two tough games in a row. First, MS Dhoni’s cool finishing helped them defeat Hyderabad Sunrisers in the last over of the day. Second, an uncharacteristically terrific bowling performance took them to a narrow win over table toppers Mumbai Indians in the last game. They face the other strong team in the fray tonight – Kolkata Knightriders. Is it worth putting the money on them in cricket betting? Well read our preview.

Rising Pune Supergiant – Preview

The lack of runs from Ajinkya Rahane, Steven Smith and Ben Stokes must be a worry the team. Manoj Tiwary has been a consistent performer with the bat. The team found two unlikely heroes in Rahul Tripathi in batting and Washington Sundar in bowling and fielding. The pitches in the IPL seem to be slowing down due to frequent use. It could favor the Pune side. Their team will be good enough to chase down targets below 180. The lack of all-out hitters was one of their early problems. The slowing pitches may take that out from the equation. However, Knightriders are a good side. It would not be prudent to put your cricket betting money on Supergiant for this match.

Kolkata Knight Riders – Preview

They will be on a high after their performance in the last match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. While the batting showed a distinct lack of thrust, bowling was exceptional. They bundled out a strong batting line-up for the lowest ever score in the IPL history. They will look for an encore. But the pitch in Pune is more batting friendly. The team requires more fruitful contributions from their top order batsmen. The strength of Knight Riders is the depth of their squad. The team is filled with bowlers who can bat. That means they are never out of the game.
