Two-time All-Star NBA veteran Manu Ginobili looks like isn’t ready yet to hang up his No. 20 Silver and Black jersey as he wants to play at least one more season with the San Antonio Spurs.
According to the reports, Ginobili is now in the process of finalizing terms on a new deal towards playing with the Spurs for his possible 16th season.
Giving to you the best free betting tips, the four-time champion has played with the franchise throughout his NBA career after being drafted 57th overall in 1999 and has been a Spurs since 2002-03 season.
In late May this year, Ginobili said that he was considering retirement, following the defeat to Golden State Warriors last season in the Western Conference Finals.
“I do feel like I can still play. But that’s not what is going to make me retire or not. I have to choose between two truly wonderful options. One is to keep playing in this league at this age, enjoying every day, playing the sport I still love. The other one is to stay at home, be a dad, travel more, enjoy my whole family. Whatever it is, it’s two unbelievable options.” Ginobili said
Last season, the Argentinian legend averaged 7.5 points and 2.7 assists per game in his 69 games appearance and has a career average of 13.6 points, 3.9 assists and 3.6 rebounds.
Ginobili, who will turn 40 on July 28, has played 992 regular season games with 213 postseason appearances and was paid $14 million last season.
Meanwhile, San Antonio is also working to finalize a new deal with free-agent center Pau Gasol after he opted out his contract for 2017-18.
