New Zealand looks forward to extending their dominance when they take on Bangladesh in the second of the three-match ODI series at Saxton Oval in Nelson tomorrow. New Zealand won the first ODI at Christ Church. They can seal the series with a win in this match.
Bangladesh fans are a passionate lot. They make spirited war-cries on the Internet. But their players cannot match the fan’s enthusiasm on the field, especially when they play abroad. So, even if you are a die-hard Bangladesh fan, tread carefully when you engage with cricket betting. Passion has never made anybody rich through online betting.
Preview – New Zealand
New Zealand had a settled combination. Openers Martin Guptill and Tom Latham, the centurion of the last match, have been tasked to provide a platform, while the middle order, led by Kane Williamson, is capable of accelerating towards the end. Saxton Oval is a small ground. Expect a score in excess of 300, especially if New Zealand bat first.
New Zealand fast bowlers had a good outing in the first ODI. Tim Southee and the young and extremely fast Lockie Ferguson took the wickets, while Trent Boult controlled the run flow from the other end. They will be looking for an encore in the second ODI. You can trust them for your cricket betting moves.
Preview – Bangladesh
Bangladesh bowlers did not exhibit the discipline and experience to do well in these conditions in the first ODI. The Kiwi batsmen prospered without much difficulty. Mustafizur Rahman’s slower ball did not have as much effect as it used to have on the sub-continent. The wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim is nursing an injury. He is doubtful for this match. If the first match is any indication, Tamim Iqbal, and Shakib Al Hasan will have to take leadership roles in batting. They can expect good support from the youngsters Mosaddek Hossain and Sabbir Rahman. Unless their batsmen find a way to tackle the New Zealand speedsters, they are going to get walloped in all the matches.
It will take Herculean effort from the Bangladesh players to win this match. As for cricket betting, a win for Bangladesh is not impossible, but it is highly improbable.
