Hamilton: Sri Lanka had their chances, infact many of them, but New Zealand covered it with their all-round performance to seal the series 2-0. On the fourth day, they required just 47 runs to win and had as many as five wickets. Kane Williamson emerged as the hero, hitting a scintillating century to take the Kiwis home in the 55th over.

Kane Williamson also became the no.1 batsman in ICC World Test Ranking.
