Team Analysis
West Ham
Thanks to Manual Lanzini, West Ham took victory over Tottenham at Olympic Stadium with 1-0 win. Lanzini struck a second-half goal that put the club in celebration when the final whistle resonated.
The display was attractive enough to be given credit as the Hammers battled to guarantee their own survival in the top flight. At some point, the win has just reduced some pressure thrown to club manager, Slaven Bilic.
As they host the third spot runners, Liverpool, Bilic’s men are expected to have a minimal players ruled out. Cheikou Kouyate and Diafra Sakho are among the list together with Mark Noble who’s undergoing a surgery.
Liverpool
Liverpool welcomed Southampton with vigor, yet the Reds failed to cap off the game in success. Rather, the tournament was brought to what appeared to be a lifeless 0-0 draw. The game could have been a resource for Jurgen Klopp to further consolidate points as the season comes to an end.
In keeping Liverpool’s season dreams, they could no longer afford to take another mistake as they take on a new challenge with West Ham. But similar to the Hammers, the Reds have their own set of trials.
Klopp’s side is traversing London Stadium without Adam Bogdan, Danny Ings, Jordan Henderson, and Sadio Mane for falling victims of physical injury.
Prediction
Knowing that the Reds haven’t done enough to secure a good game last time, Liverpool is making up for the 0-0 draw against Southampton. They will seemingly take the frustrations on the Hammers as they aim to serve victory.
