The Ashes Fourth Test: Cricket Betting Preview

0

The forth Ashes test will begin on Boxing Day at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Australia, having won the series, will be eager to inflict a 5-0 whitewash. England, on the other hand, will be looking forward to rise from the ashes like Phoenix. But the visitors, who fought hard like equal to equal in the first two tests, appeared psychologically shattered towards the end of the third test. It would not be a surprise if Australia gallop to a 5-0 win. A good indication of where to place your cricket money, check out Australia’s performance in Boxing Day tests. The Aussies rarely lose those.

Preview – Australia

Australia have gone from strength to strength as the series progressed. Still, Seven Smith is the lynchpin of their batting. David Warner is still struggling. But now they have a reliable batsman in Shaun Marsh. If the others too start firing, no one can save England. The most lethal weapon Australia possess is their bowling. Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and   Nathan Lyon are in terrific form. There is no leeway for the opposition batsmen.

It is hard to feel easy and relaxed against these bowlers. All they need is one moment of indiscretion or loss of concentration from the batsmen. They bowl so well that wickets are bound too fall unless the batsmen are in top form always. When they are in full flow, you can confidently put your money on Australia in cricket betting.

Preview – England

England will be looking for a new beginning. There is nothing to lose now. They have done well individually in different times. But the collective effort is missing, especially in batting. They lack a proper and experienced spinner. And they lack a genuine all-rounder like Ben Stokes. These holes cannot be plugged overnight. Stokes will be back at least for ODI series. But England must find a spinner. At the moment, they need to depend again on the aging firm of James Anderson and Stuart Broad.

Prediction for cricket betting: Australia will cruise to a win.
