In a high profile Indian Premier League (IPL) fixture, the Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad will face each other on Tuesday to offer a feast to eyes of spectators.
Delhi Capitals have won both games in IPL so far and ranked at the first position in the points table. They won their first two games against Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings.
With talented Indian young batsmen and threatening pace attack, they look like a formidable side. Team India openers Prithvi Shaw and Shikhar Dhawan are setting a solid foundation for the Capitals. Shikhar Dhawan amassed 521 runs in the last season of IPL and was the highest scorer in Delhi Capitals team. Skipper Shreyas Iyer and team India wicket-keeper Rishabh along with Caribbean batsman Shimron Hetmyer made a stable middle order for Capitals. They also have good spinners like Ravi Ashwin, Axar Patel and veteran leg spinner Amit Mishra along with menacing pacers like Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje. They would be anticipating their third successive win in this game against Sunrisers.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad have lost both games so far in this IPL as their middle-order batting looked weak in these two games. They lost to Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders till now. English opener Jonny Bairstow and Indian middle-order batsman Manish Pandey looked in fine form in these games.
New Zealand’s skipper Kane Williamson remained on the bench as they tried Afghanistan allrounder Mohammad Nabi and Mitchell Marsh in eleven in these two games. They might give Williamson a go to make middle-order batting strong. Their bowling looked threatening as Indian pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar opens the bowling for them with left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed. Rashid Khan, Shahbaz Nadeem and Fabian Allen complete their spin department.
They will be looking forward to changing the fortunes to open their account on the points table in this match. Sunrisers skipper David Warner would be aiming to score big to win his team first match in this season. He is the backbone of Sunrisers side from any years and won an orange cap in the last season IPL by scoring eight fifties in just 12 games. So Sunrisers would hope Warner return in the form in this game.
These two teams played each other 15 times from 2013 where Sunrisers Hyderabad won nine of them and Delhi Capitals won remaining six games.
Delhi Capitals are more likely to win this match as they are looking in good form.
