David Silva signs a one-year contract extension for Man City

Spain midfielder David Silva signed a one-year contract extension with Manchester City until 2020 that will mark his 10th year at the Club.

Silva is widely recognized as one of the best players in the team and has made 52 goals in his 324 appearances in all competitions for The Citizens.

In fact, the 31-year-old Spaniard has already won two Premier League titles, an FA Cup and two League Cups during his time with the club.

“I am so happy to have committed my future to City. I am incredibly proud of what I have achieved at City in my seven-and-a-half seasons here and with Pep in charge, I feel we are in a great position to win trophies this season and beyond. The style of football we are playing is a pleasure to be a part of and I look forward to winning more titles in the years to come.” Silva said in a statement

Going back, Silva joined City in 2010 from Valencia for £24 million deal.

Right now, he is focused to add another title to his career this season as Manchester City is eight points clear in the Premier League table with 13 wins and one draw for 40 points.
