Liverpool F.C. captain Jordan Henderson was very thankful to his club for signing long-term target Naby Keita from RB Leipzig.
The 27-year-old midfielder is already excited and looking forward to play with Keita when he joins to the Premier League team Liverpool on July 2018 after the Reds paid his reported £48 million release clause.
“If you play for top teams you are going to sign good players. I have seen Naby play quite a few times and he looks a top, top player. There have been a lot of transfer rumours over the summer and thankfully we ended up doing the business. Okay, he comes next year, but I am sure the club are delighted to get him because he will be a real addition to the squad and will hopefully help us over the next few years.” Henderson said
Liverpool has confirmed that they advanced the signing of the 22-year-old Guinea midfielder on a five-year contract in a club-record deal that will be effective on next season under manager Jurgen Klopp.
