Washington Wizards defeats Cleveland Cavaliers, 102-94



Washington Wizards has been great in the NBA preseason, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Verizon Center, 102-94.

Jodie Meeks and Carrick Felix led the Wizards with 13 point each while Kelly Oubre Jr. and Donald Sloan added 12 points each to improve their preseason to 3-0.

Scott Brook’s starters John Wall (six points), Bradley Beal (11 points), Otto Porter Jr. (two points), Marcin Gortat (five points) just played 10 minutes and 18 second and below.

Meanwhile, Sheldon Mac suffered a lower leg injury as he was driving towards the hoop and the Wizards are hoping that it is not a torn Achilles.

For the Cleveland Cavaliers, head coach Tyronn Lue rested his big players which include LeBron James, Kevin Love, Dwyane Wade, Derrick Rose, Tristan Thompson, Jae Crowder and JR Smith.

Jeff Green, acquired by the Cavs this season, led the team with 19 points in 24 minutes. John Holland got 14 points and Kay Felder scored 12 while Kyle Korver notched 11 points in Cleveland’s defeat.
